Rock Hill Country Club is a Private 18 holes golf course located in Rock Hill,South Carolina.
Rock Hill Country Club first opened for play in 1934 with 9-holes. The "front nine" course was designed by A. W. Tillinghast. In 1949 the second nine holes were designed and built by Arthur Hamm. In 1954 the club was made private and has remained so ever since.
The course features severe changes in elevation on its fairways. The signature hole is #12, a 165-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a small, well-bunkered green.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,525 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,230 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 13, a par-5 that plays to 550 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 410-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Rock Hill Golf Course is # 16, a 360 yard par-4.
